1.  Receipt of the application. 

 

2.  The Superintendent will make reference to the relevant authorities for comment:- 

  • Public Work Department 

  •  Marine Department 

  •  Port Authority 

  •  Sarawak River Board 

  •  Natural Resources and Environment Board (NREB)

  • Local Authority 

 

3.  Details Particulars on the Application will be submitted to Headquarters for vetting and further submission to the Ministry of Planning and Resource Management for consideration of the Minister. 

 

4.  The decision of the Ministry will be conveyed to the Director who will inform the  Divisional Superintendent

      - Approved/Rejected 
      The Divisional Superintendent will inform the applicant of the decision: - 
       (a) Approved 
       (b) Rejected 

 

5. On the approved case, the Divisional Superintendent will make offer of terms and conditions of the licence and require the applicant to pay the relevant fees. 

 

6. Once the offer is accepted and payment of fees have been made by the applicant, the Divisional Superintendent will submit the Draft Licence to Director of Lands and Surveys for signature. 

 

7. After the signature has been attested, the Director will return the Draft Licence to the Superintendent for record and custodian and distribution to the licensee and relevant Authorities.
