LASIS

 

1.  Yearly IT Budget

  • This is a yearly exercise where request for IT equipments such as personal computer, printer can be made by all Section/Branch at Headquarters and all divisional offices.

  • ISB is responsible to co-ordinate this exercise within the Department.

  • ISB will consolidate the submission from Headquarters  and Divisional office.

  • All submission will be sent to Sarawak Information Technology and Resources Council (SITRC) for approval.

 

2.  Yearly Computer Stationery

  • This refers to the requirement of computer stationery in the Department.

  • ISB is responsible to compile and consolidate the estimates submit from all branches/sections at Headquarters and all divisional offices.

  • For the approved items, ISB will call quotation to purchase the items and monitor the delivery for the item to the respective section and division.

 

3.  Personnel Development 

  • This refers to the training and course related to the Computer Software. When there is a request from the section/branch to send staff for the training and the request has been approved by DDLS.

  • ISB will liase with SAINS on the registration of training participants and training schedule.

  • ISB also conducting the training on LASIS application system (e.g. Title Registration System, Revenue System) especially for the staff who is using LASIS.

  • Before LASIS implemented in a particular division, training on all application system will be conducted for the staff in the Division.

 

4.  Ad-hoc IT Request

  • This refers to the request for the IT equipment which is made at anytime required by the users.

  • The request with full justification should submitted to DLS.

  • It will be referred to ISB for evaluation and recommendation. if approved by DLS, ISB will write to the Sarawak Information Technology and Resources Council (SITRC) to acquire the equipment.

  • If approved by SITRC, it will be assigned to Sarawak Information System Sdn. Bhd. (SAINS) to purchase the approved equipment.

  • SAINS will deliver the equipment to the user.
