1. (Transfer / Charge / Sublease) State Lands are normally alienated subject to certain restrictive conditions such as "No Dealing", "No Transfer" or "No Sublease", in addition to the normal terms and conditions of alienation.
2. Why The Restrictive Conditions ?
i. To prevent disposal of land for quick profits
3. How to Apply for Permission to Deal ? The applicant, who should normally be the registered proprietor, should submit the application to the respective Divisional Superintendent of Land and Survey Department in which the land is situated. Normally, the applicant applies through the law firm.

i. In the case of a transfer - the amount of consideration, if any
6. Powers to Approve Transfer & Charge i. Divisional Superintendents have been delegated the power to approve applications to charge land in their
respective Divisions in cases where the amount does not exceed RM500,000.00 members in consideration of natural love and affection and transfer to beneficiaries of an estate of a deceased person.
