RGC is the current Government rural development strategy, aimed at stimulating the economic growth in the rural areas. In Sarawak, the role of implementing this strategy is undertaken by the Ministry of Rural Development. Among the components of the strategy is the establishment of service centres to provide various facilities and services to the community in any of the RGCs.
