1. Aerial Photography Survey
To provide as much as possible aerial photographs coverage for the State of Sarawak, for various purposes, such as for mapping, planning and feasibility studies of various development projects undertaken by Government Departments and statutory bodies.
2. Reproduction
(a) To produce contact prints and enlargements of aerial photographs ,
(b) To reproduce, enlarge or reduce maps, survey plans, photographs, documents as well as other graphic works.
3. Lithography
To print State maps prepared by the Cartography Section or upon requests from other Departments, as well as to print reports and various official documents required by the Department.
4. Book Binding
(a) To carry out binding of printed documents & reports for Department use,
(b) Production of land rent payment booklets,
(c) Making of special folders for Land Registers, Land titles Instruments and other legal documents
5. Microfilming
To microfilm survey records and legal documents for safe keeping. Included in the list are field books, traverse volumes, coordinate lists and legal documents relating to land registration.
6. Photolitho Section: Store Management
(a) To purchase and stock printing materials; and
(b) To purchase and stock aerial photographic film developing agents.
(c) Servicing and maintenance of all printing equipment
