1.  Activities :

• To monitor the progress of survey for all government project such as JKR roads, DID / IADP drainage schemes, land acquisition survey projects under "LAPI", controls survey, approved traditional kampung projects and NCL development projects.

• To monitor the progress of contract survey jobs and cadastral survey, to access the performance of Licensed Land Surveyors and to report any mal-practices by the Licensed Land Surveyors to the Land Surveyors Board, Sarawak (if any being detected).

2.  Function:

• Planning, preparation, issuance, checking and approval of cadastral controls under contract survey jobs financed by Lands and Surveys Department Development Fund;

• Planning, preparation, issuance and checking of land acquisition survey underl of contract survey jobs financed by statutory bodies/other government agencies;

• Planning, preparation, issuance, checking of perimeter survey under contract survey jobs financed by statutory bodies/ other government agencies;
