Introduction

The Land and Survey Department workshop is situated at Jalan Simen Raya, Sg. Apong, Kuching.  It comprises of the following: 

(a)   Optical workshop;

(b)   Electronic workshop;

(c)   Carpentry; and

(d)   Plant nursery.

The main function of the workshop is to provide In house general servicing for

(a)  Optical and electronic survey instruments posses by the Department ;

(b)  To carry out minor repairs of office furniture ;and 

(c)  Maintenance of plant nursery to meet department needs
