CLIENT CHARTER - Planning Branch
1. Application for Subdivision and Development

Acknowledgement letter is to be issued to applicant within one (1) week upon receipt of application for subdivision and development of Land.

Applications for subdivision and development of land will be checked and processed within four (4) months from the date of receipt from applicant, before referring to State Planning Authority (SPA) or Director (DLS) for decision. DLS’s decision will be conveyed to applicant or divisional office within one (1) week.

Convey of Provisional Approval for application for subdivision and development of land to applicant within one (1) week from the date of receipt of SPA or DLS decision.

Convey of Formal Approval for application for subdivision and development of land to applicant within one (1) week upon payment of planning fees.
2. Subdivision Plan
Subdivision Plan will be processed and endorsed within one (1) month
upon the receipt of plans from applicant.
3. Engineering Plan
Engineering plan will be processed and tabled in the Engineering Plan Committee within one (1) month from the date of receipt of plan from applicant.
4. Building Plan
Building plan will be processed and conveyed to applicant within two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of plan from local authority.
5. Depositing of Survey Plan
Applications for depositing of survey plans will be vetted for approval of the Director within two (2) weeks upon receipt from divisional office.
6. Siting Application
a) Siting application to be processed and ready for SPA meeting within six (6) weeks.
b) Joint Site Inspection is to be done within two (2) weeks.
7. Report of Regional Studies
Every report for regional studies, small region, feasibility study, sectional studies or Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) studies will be vetted and commented within one (1) month upon receipt of the report from consultants or any Government Department.
