INTRODUCTION
This site has been established to create public awareness for a better understanding on the roles and functions of the Department, also it would be a resource for existing staff to know more about the Department in order to discharge their duties in a more effective manner, in particular new intakes.
Since its initial formation 81 years ago, it has grown into one major departments with multi-disciplinary functions in the State of Sarawak with important responsibilities of today, offices throughout the State and a staff strength of 2342 personnel to serve the needs of all sectors.

This link provides one-stop connections to all core services that are provided by the Department, such as applications for land, licenses, development and etc.
2. Supporting Services
This link provides one-stop connections to all supporting services, such as enforcement of land laws, computerization, land information systems, geographical services and etc.
3. On-line Services
This is the link to the many on-line services, such as On-Line Payment for Land Rent, Feedback Form, download of official forms and other restricted access to land and geographical information to be provided at a later stage of web-page implementation.
4. Contact Us
Contained in this page is a list on telephone contacts, fax, emails for key personnel in the Department; the Directorate, Superintendents in all Divisions, Web page development personnel and the Public Relations Officers. Forming part of contact us is a feedback form on web page quality. It is highly appreciated that this form is used to feedback to us in order for us to improve this site. We will be better the next time you visit us.
5. Branches / Section
The 'Functions' link is a gateway to access all multi-disciplinary Branches and Sections in the Department. They are Survey, Planning, Land, Valuation, Adjudication and Enforcement.

Included in the 'Profile' link is a description on objectives, roles, functions and policy of the Department, including Mission and Vision statements. There is also a section on a brief history since its formation in 1918 and a glance of the buildings it occupied to the current location in Menara Pelita in Petra Jaya, Kuching. The last section on this page is a brief description of the organisation structure and a top level organisation chart.
